With an early start the equips are on their way to Tbilisi. The cars start the day with a bit of fog and rain. The first kilometres of the stage leads the equips along the beautiful coastline. At the border the rally drivers where greeted by the first lady of Georgia, the former dutch Sandra Roelofs from Zeeland.

Georgia is a very poor country which is immediately obvious by the condition of the roads. This is the worst the drivers have seen so far. And not only that, but the driving of most Georgians is extremly dangerous plus all the cattle walking or lying on the roads, this requires top concentration.

Bad luck strikes team 2 as they get engine problems: broken seal in their engine. They were able continue the stage to Tiblisi on just four cylinders.
